Is there a year in review for motorcycle riding?
Yes — Roveri Rewind is a year in review for riding, built from the rides you recorded on your own iPhone. It comes as a story of eight slides: every route of the period on one map, the distance and the hours behind it, the ride that stood out, and a closing card made to be shared.
It is yours alone — no ranking, no badges, nobody else in it. A new Rewind is waiting at the start of every month; the month is the window the app builds today, and a whole-year edition is still to come. The first two slides are free; the rest is part of Roveri Pro.
What is inside a Rewind
A Rewind opens the way a story opens: a cover with the month, the number of rides in it, and one of those rides drawn as a single green line. Tap through and the deck goes eight slides deep.
- The cover — the month, and how many times you went out in it.
- Every road you rode — the month’s routes, all of them, on one map.
- The numbers — distance, moving time, rides, total climb and corners, with the height graph of the month’s biggest climb unfolding out of the route that earned it.
- Ride of the month — the one ride the month is remembered by, with its place, its date and its own map.
- New ground — what this month added to your Coverage Atlas: the square kilometres you had never covered before, the cities you reached for the first time, a new country’s flag.
- Records this month — the longest ride yet, the biggest climb yet, the longest time in the saddle yet, and the weather you rode them in: the coldest, the hottest, the windiest, the one in the rain.
- Compared to last month — this month’s distance and rides set against the month before.
- The finale — one poster card carrying the month’s headline numbers, made to be shared.
Eight is the full deck, and a month that has nothing to say on a slide does not get that slide. A month spent on roads you had already covered skips New ground rather than announcing that you explored nothing new. And Compared to last month appears only when the month held up against the one before it: a quieter month is simply a quieter month, and Roveri does not build a slide out of it.
Nobody else is in it
This is the part worth being precise about, because it is where Rewind differs from every other recap a rider has seen.
Recaps in fitness and riding apps are built to be social. They rank you among other riders, they hand out badges, they tell you which percentile your year landed in. Rewind is built from one source only — the rides you recorded yourself — and every number in it is measured from your own riding. The map is your roads. The record is your record, beaten by your earlier self. The ride of the month is yours because of how you rode it, not because of where it placed.
That is also why it arrives monthly rather than once a year: a story about your own riding is worth having while the season is still going, not only after it has ended. The whole-year edition is still to come; the month is what Roveri builds today.
When the next one arrives
A Rewind covers a month that has finished, and it is built from rides already in your journal — there is nothing to start, join or opt into. Your first one arrives when the current month ends, and after that a new one is waiting at the start of every month, in the circle at the top of Home. That circle carries the month that has just ended and nothing older. Roveri keeps a rolling year of them, and the months before this one open from Settings, under Rewind — so last February is still there to open in the following January.
Roveri tells you itself: one notification a month — Your month is ready — when the new one has been built, if you allowed Roveri to send notifications at all. It arrives unless you turn Monthly Rewind story off in Settings. One a month, and opening the Rewind clears it.
What is free, and what is Pro
The first two slides — the cover and the map of every road you rode — are free, every month, for every rider. The six that follow are part of Roveri Pro: the numbers, the ride of the month, the new ground, the records, the comparison, and the finale card.
Sharing the story
The share button sits on every slide, and it does the same thing from each of them: it exports the slides that are yours to share as images, sized for a story and signed with the wordmark, and the share sheet tells you how many are ready to go. Sharing itself is free — a rider on the free tier sends the slides that are free to them, and a Pro rider sends the whole story at once.

Common questions
When does a new Rewind appear?
At the start of every month, for the month that just ended. It is built from rides already in your journal, so your first one arrives as soon as the current month is over. Roveri sends one notification when it is ready — unless you turn Monthly Rewind story off in Settings, or never allowed notifications; opening the Rewind clears it.
Does a Rewind need an account or a server?
Neither. Roveri has no sign-in, and a Rewind is computed on your iPhone from the rides in your own journal — the finished story is written into the app’s own storage on the device, and Roveri keeps a rolling year of them there.
What if I did not ride that month?
A month with no recorded rides gets no Rewind, and nothing is invented to fill it. The next month you ride, a new one is waiting at the start of the month after it.
Is there an annual one?
Not yet. Rewind covers the month, and the month is the only window the app builds today. A whole-year edition is still to come, so there is nothing to open for it in the app so far; the monthly stories open from the circle at the top of Home, and the months before them from Settings, under Rewind.
Can I share a Rewind?
Yes. The share button on any slide exports the slides that are yours to share as images sized for a story, and the finale card is built for exactly that. Sharing is free: on the free tier you send the slides that are free to you, and with Roveri Pro you send the whole story at once.
