Roveri is a riding journal for iPhone. This is what each update has brought to riders, newest first, since the first release in May 2026. Dates are given to the month unless an exact release day is recorded.
Roveri 1.14 — A ride as a link, and GPX import
Released September 2026
- Share a ride as a link. It opens as a page in any browser — the route, the numbers and the weather of that day — with nothing to install on the other end, the map live rather than a picture of one, and the page in the reader's own language.
- You decide what travels with it: trim the exact start and finish back from the route, keep your top speed to yourself, and change your mind later without breaking the address you already sent. Update the page in place, or stop sharing it, at any time.
- Send the GPX file along with the page, so whoever opens it can take the track into a tool of their own (Roveri Pro).
- Open a .gpx file — from Files, from Mail, from a message — and the ride lands in its own Imported section, held apart from the rides you record. Your totals, your records and the Coverage Atlas are drawn from the rides you recorded yourself, so an import leaves all three as they were.
- The share button on a ride now opens four plain choices: a card over a photo, a card on the ride's map, the web page, or the GPX file.

Roveri 1.13 — Lanes on the route map
Released September 2026
- Lanes: where a ride covers the same road twice, the two passes now draw side by side instead of one over the other, each carrying arrows for the direction you were going.
- A ride that ends where it began shows a single Start · Finish disc, in place of two pins stacked on the same spot.
- The arrows ride every map layer — speed, elevation, road type — so which way you went is there to read. One switch in Settings brings the single line back.

Roveri 1.12 — Rewind, and a quarterly plan
Released September 2026
- Rewind: your riding month, told as a story of eight slides — every route of the month on one map, the distance and the hours behind it, the records you set, the ride the month is remembered by, and a closing card built for sharing.
- Open it from the circle at the top of Home; past months live in Settings, and Roveri can send a nudge when a new one is ready — your call, in Settings.
- The first two slides are free, and the rest of the deck is part of Roveri Pro.
- A quarterly plan joins the monthly and annual ones, and every plan opens with a one-week free trial.

Roveri 1.11 — Japanese, and pause on the Lock Screen
Released August 2026
- Pause and resume a ride right on the Lock Screen — nothing to open, nothing to unlock. Ending a ride stays in the Dynamic Island: from a locked screen there is no way to ask whether you meant to keep a two-minute ride, so one stray tap would save one.
- Roveri now speaks Japanese — nine languages, and translated all the way down. The card you post speaks your language too: distance, time, top speed and climb used to be English on every shared card, in every language.
- Wording and typography fixes in every language.
Roveri 1.10 — The Coverage Atlas, and five new languages
Released August 2026
- The Coverage Atlas: every road you have ridden, drawn as kilometre squares on one live map. Squares light up where you have been and deepen on the roads you keep coming back to — beside your explored area and the countries and cities you have reached. Focus the map on this month, the last 90 days, this year, or all time (Roveri Pro).
- Roveri now speaks Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Swedish — eight languages in all.
- A full accessibility pass: Dynamic Type across the app, VoiceOver summaries on the data screens, and Bold Text honoured.
- Smoother maps and reliability fixes throughout.

Roveri 1.9 — German, and History refinements
Released July 2026
- Roveri is now available in German.
- Swipe left on any ride in your History to delete it.
- Right after an iCloud sync, rides fill in their route and place on their own, with a gentle syncing note until they land — plus tidier maps on ride cards.
Roveri 1.8 — Pause, refined
Released July 2026
- Pause and resume a ride in one tap, right on the recording pill — nothing to open first.
- A ride is recoverable if the app closes mid-ride: pick it back up, finish it, or discard it from the Home screen.
- Pausing eases GPS off while you're stopped, so it's gentler on the battery, and snaps back the moment you resume.
- Paused and recovered rides stay accurate — the track draws no straight line across a pause, and paused time is left out of moving time.
Roveri 1.7 — Recording on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
Released June 2026
- An active ride now appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island — distance, time, and climb, updating as you ride. Pause, resume, and end it from the Dynamic Island.
- Paused time no longer counts toward a ride's moving time, so a saved ride keeps honest numbers.
- A refreshed recording screen, with reliability fixes throughout.

Roveri 1.6 — Weather notifications

- A heads-up when the day — today or tomorrow — looks good for a ride near you.

- Fixed a display issue on the subscription screen where a figure could appear in the wrong currency in some regions. The amount you are actually charged was always correct.

- Where to ride: Roveri reads the weather across the roads around you and rates where it is good to ride, hour by hour (Roveri Pro).
- Share any ride as a card — the route, the numbers, the day — over its map or your own photo.
